Ed passed away on Wed May 21 2008. He was predeceased by his wife Mary(Oros)
and his sister Gladys Bivand. Ed was the beloved father of John and his wife Monika
(Laumann) and Larry and his wife Cyndy (Nezezon). He will greatly missed by his
grandchildren Kyrsty, Katelyn, Chrstopher, Niko, Jakob, and Kensie. He is survived by
his sister Margie Nowasad.
Lions Comments:
For many years Ed look after doing the bookings of our club, Ed spent alot of time at
the club waiting around for people while they did they did their set up. Ed was a true
Lion who dedicated his life to the club.
Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow
But remember me in every tomorrow
Remember th joy the laughter, the smiles
I've only gone to rest a little while
Although my leaving causes pain and grief
My going has eased my heart
And given me relief. So dry your eyes and
remember me, not as I am now,
but as I used to be.
Because, I will remember you all and
look on with a smile.
Understand, in your hearts, I've only
gone to rest a little while.
As long as I have the love of each of you,
I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.
On May 24 2008, Allison Doucet enter the Rankin
Walk which is a local fund raiser for cancer research.
She did the walk and dedicated it to Lion Ed
Semenchuk and Lion Wayne McLaren. God Bless your
heart Allison, we need more kids like you in this world.
