| Q: What Are Youth Dances? A: Youth dances are for kids in grades 5-8 who want to come out and have fun with kids their own age. The dances are on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month during the school year. Doors open at 6:45p.m., the dance will run from 7:00p.m.to 10:00p.m. |
| Q: What's The Cost Of The Dances, How Much Money Do I Need To Send With My Child? A: The cost is $7.00 per child to come to the dance. There will be snacks available like pop, water, chips, and pizza for $1.00 each. |
| Q: Why Is The Lion's Club Holding Youth Dances? A: We at the Grantham Lion's Club know that there are fewer things that are available in the North End to entertain kids so we want to help you keep them busy and show them what we're all about. |
| Q: Will My Child Be Supervised? A: Once you drop off your child and they enter the building, they are not allowed to leave the building until a parent is at the door to pick them up. Every door in the building will be supervised by Grantham Lions Members. |
| Q: I Know The Lion's Club Has A Bar, Will There Be Alcohol Served? A: The bar will be closed and locked up. A snack area will be set up in our small hall for the kids to enjoy. There will be pop, water, chips and pizza available for the kids. |
| Q: My Son/Daughter Has A Peanut Allergy How Can I Be Sure There Won't Be Any Peanuts There? A: We are well aware of the different kinds of allergies that exist in this day and age and we will not be serving any snack with peanuts. We will take every precaution possible, however, if your child has a severe allergy we would ask that you let us know at the door. |
| Q: What About The Music, What Kind Of Music Will Be Played? A: Our DJ has a strict policy on the music he plays. All the music is what we call radio safe. Radio safe means that there will be no swearing or sexual content. We are here just to have fun and we want the kids to have fun too. |
